For Kobe’s birthday this year, we opted for a trip to Disney instead of a birthday party or gifts. He already has lots of toys and with Christmas right around the corner (and while we could still get free admission for Kobe), I thought he would enjoy Disney!
I always like to start our trip with Magic Kingdom. To me, it’s where the magic is.
Our first day was rainy and a little cold, but on the bright side, the wait times were low and it wasn’t as crowded. We walked in and went straight to meet Mickey.
From there, we went to Tomorrowland for Space Mountain and in hopes of seeing Buzz, but he wasn’t out due to the rain.
Kobe got to see ‘Can-Cant’ (Mirabelle from Encanto), and it was so funny! He acted so shy but kept peeking at her and grinning. We also got to see Goofy, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, and Daisy Duck.
At 7am, we had to join the virtual queue to ride the new ride, TRON!! It was so much fun!!! Definitely the best ride at Magic Kingdom, in my opinion.
By the time we were called to ride Tron, we had just finished up lunch at Starlight Cafe and Kobe was ready for a nap.
Mom and dad volunteered to stay back with Kobe and let the ‘big kids’ go ride some rides.
We were able to do everything we wanted to do in Magic Kingdom by 4:00 that afternoon, go back to the room to rest, and then take the skyliner over to Hollywood Studios for dinner at Mama Melrose. The chicken parm was delishhhh!! (Chefs kiss)
